Chema Alvargonzález was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain , and is now based in Barcelona and Berlin. He uses light, sound, photography and writing to create large-scale installations. Along with independent light sculptures he focuses on works for historical buildings, changing their appearance and atmosphere by means of installations that address the specifics of the existing architecture, its location and its significance.
