Felix S. Huber and Florian Wüst have installed digital cameras at two sites in Messestadt Riem. By 'playing' to these cameras, residents can influence directly the appearance of Messestadt as projected onto a screen at the U-Bahn station Messestadt West and conveyed to the world at large via the internet at www.resiteprojects.de. During transmission, the camera shots are combined with a large number of video and movie clips, generating a complex collage of fleeting representations of the present and timeless images from the past. In accordance with residents´ wishes the second camera was moved in 2003 from the Grünwerkstatt to the central green area in Messestadt.
