Wind und Wetter by Sissel Tolaas

For the project Wind und Wetter (Wind and Weather) Sissel Tolaas planned to erect a thirty-metre-high wind turbine on a hill of rubble, the future Rodelhügel (tobogganing hill). The wind-generated power was to be transmitted as electricity to egg-shaped glass booths set up at three locations in Messestadt Riem within sight of the turbine. In these booths, when the wind was blowing and thus generating electricity, anyone was to be able to access information on the local weather provided by the German Meteorological Service. Unfortunately, the project could not be realised.
