In a slide presentation the artists talked about their previous work and about their ideas for a Messestadt Riem project. They had consulted local residents in the months before, and the wishes and ideas expressed in these conversations formed the starting point and the chief reference for their work. It became clear in the course of the evening that residents would like the three parts of the project to remain in place on a long-term basis. Indeed, they voiced a general preference for permanent works of art rather than pieces that are removed after a few months.
